Information and Cost:

Private Lessons with Protect founders Phil or Athena Thompson: $125 per hour - 8 HOURS FOR $900.

Rules and Regulations for Privates:

• At time of booking please state whether you want Phil or Athena (or both, where applicable, as arranged) as your Private Instructor.
• Cancellations for a private are to be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the lesson. Any cancellations made later will result in the loss of the private fee in full.
• Privates are to be scheduled and paid for a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
• If Protect cancels your private, it is to be rescheduled for the following week if possible or at a time suitable to both parties and is never considered lost.
• Protect reserves the right to cancel a private at any time or at a moment's notice.
• Lateness to a private session will be deducted from your hour, i.e. if you show up 15 minutes late, your private lesson will be 45 minutes. 15 minutes late or more and you lose your private.
• Any 'no show' or last minute cancellations will count as a private.
• You are responsible for purchasing your own equipment (Gloves, mouthpiece, hand wraps etc if required.)
• Private lessons are held at Protect's training centre in Howick unless otherwise arranged. Where Private's are held off site, there may be travelling costs depending on distance and time required. 
• For your benefit and with your approval, Protect may from time to time pair you up with another private who is at your level of expertise (give or take). This gives the instructor a greater ability to monitor your progress than if you were working with the instructor alone. We cannot watch you and train with you simultaneously while giving you first rate instruction.
• Protect reserves the right to have a second instructor present at any private at our discretion.
  It is Protect company policy that any private session involving a male instructor and female client, that a third person be present for the duration of the private session. This can be discussed and arranged at the time of booking.
